About ATSC.2023
The Asian Thermal Spray Conference (ATSC) is a platform for networking and knowledge sharing for the thermal spray community in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference will highlight advances in thermal spray research including information on new processes, new materials, and new applications. The event provides an attractive forum for all stakeholders of the thermal spray community such as researchers from industry, research institutions, and academia; professionals from thermal spray service providers; equipment and feedstock manufacturers; and OEMs and users to interact and exchange ideas during and after the conference. The event will also provide an ideal platform for young researchers and engineers to familiarize themselves with recent advances in this rapidly evolving technology and gain application knowledge through the exhibition involving leading industries showcasing their products and services. The past editions of the event organized in Japan, Korea, Singapore, and China were extremely successful with good participation. The 12th edition of ATSC will be held in India for the second time in the city of Chennai from 2 – 4 November 2023.

Call for Papers
Technical papers for presentation at the 12th ATSC are invited covering various aspects related to thermal spray science and technology, ranging from fundamental research to industrial applications. Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts of papers dealing with, but not restricted to, any of the several themes listed below:

An abstract of up to 500 words, in English, together with full contact details of the authors, are requested to be submitted through the website no later than 31st July 2023. Abstracts received shall be considered for both Oral and Poster Presentation. Those authors specifically preferring poster presentations should indicate so. Extended abstracts will be requested from accepted papers to be included in the Conference Proceedings book. Extended abstracts submitted must be verified for plagiarism using standard softwares available.
Selected-invited papers will appear as part of a special issue of Journal of Thermal Spray Technology dedicated to ATSC2023.
